The big question I am asking right now

How do I live out who I really am and what I really want? What do you want me to do, Jesus? How can I be whole?

My Story

I was raised in Houston, TX and moved to San Antonio in 2009 to finish high school. I have always had a strong desire to grow and be authentic. This desire really made it difficult for me to determine what I wanted to do after high school. In short, I did one year of college, dropped out, and went to a ministry school in Recife, Brazil for 3 and 1/2 months. It was a crazy decision that changed my life. After attending that school, I moved back to the states to find myself wandering for a couple years. I started dating my wife when I landed back in San Antonio, TX and very quickly we were married and pregnant. Now, we have two beautiful children, Declan and Aurora, and we are on the journey of life together. Its been a good and hard road all at the same time. I am still asking some of the same big questions I was in my youth, but I do feel like I am closer and closer to some of those answers every day. Between working at ONE and a local church in San Antonio, I have a creative community called the Sanctuary and rock band called Holding Space. I am a creative at heart and desire to make my life filled with creativity and art. These extra pursuits in the realm of creativity are some of the answers to my big questions, and I am trying to lean into them as much as I can.
